This book has to be pushing three decades by this point. The BSC was a product of the 80's and early 90's, and boy howdy, things were different back then. If BSC was set in today, things would have been very different in so many aspects, especially with smartphones.
The plotline for this is a bit cliche, with a gang of bad boys using clean-cut Logan as their front, and other junior high hijinks. Again, things would have been so different today with social media, so even though this book might seem cliche, it's almost like a time-warp to an earlier and almost more innocent era.
