Dog Painting 1840 - 1940

Very nice coffee table book. Especially nice of course if you like dogs and art. I did not read through it but just browsed the pictures at this time. Will try to read through it at some point.

it is organized by period and also within chapters often by breed. There seems to be a lot around hunting dogs and field trials, which were popular topics and a popular topic for me. Seems like from what I briefly read there is a lot of history worked in. Good book to have in a collection.
