On Passover

This book tells the history of Passover and the traditions associated with it while telling the story of a young girl preparing for Passover. This story is great for a read aloud to elementary school students and allows them to see what some cultures may celebrate in the Spring. The book also uses Hebrew words traditionally used during Passover, and it conveniently puts these words in italics with a glossary in the back so students and teachers can refer back to it and know what each word means. The illustrations complement the text beautifully, making this a very appealing book.
