Neamatollah Nojumi, who was raised in Afghanistan, was a participant in the Mujahideen fight against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and was a contributor to humanitarian efforts providing medical and other services to those Afghans who have suffered most from the external and internal fighting: the refugees and internally displaced.
