Takes place in the fictional Cathedral Town of Litchester, the story centres upon the preposed sale of their copy of the Magna Carta. Early in the book, fire destroys the Cathedral Library and a body is discovered in the burnt-out room.
A good enough crime story which wold have been helped by a cast list,in particular relating to the clergy.
Festive murder mystery based in a cathedral city.
