One of the first books my parents ever bought me. Forgot about this little gem for many, many years.

Sadly my copy is long gone, and copies that still exist are quite expensive.

First words
Lazy Tommy Pumpkinhead lived in an electric house. In the morning, when the sun rose over the hill and warmed his windowsill, his bed started to move.
Last words
(Click to show. Warning: May contain spoilers.)He sat on the floor, deep in the middle of his breakfast. The music from the eating machine faded softly into silence. For a long time he didn't move at all, just sat still, like a fat tomato in an omelette. "How?" Lazy Tommy Pumpkinhead asked out loud to no one. "How did I get myself in this mess? " I really must turn over a new leaf before it is THE END.
