This is a very emotional book about young love and the potential of speration due to sickness. Every page sucks you in to the story and you feel everything the characters feel. Honestly it's the best read I've had in a while. I feel in love with the characters and I cried with the characters. I definitely recommend this book!!
I am in love with all of Lurlene McDaniel's books. Don't die, My love happens to be one of my favorites. If you like sad books that make you cry, any of McDaniel's books are good for you. You should definitely read this one- it's amazing. It has just the right amount of love and sadness to make it interesting *eye wiggle* and sad at the same time. This book gets 5/5 stars from me!
I honestly have no idea why, but I had some high expectations for this book. I literally have never even heard of this book (or author.) I think when I read the synopsis it appealed to me, but..the expectations were high. The character I liked the most was Luke. Julie..she irritated me (like 75% of the time.) I don’t really have much else to say, but that it was an ok book.
So much potential with this story but McDaniel goes the cliched route with no twists or turns or anything remotely interesting that I couldn't have predicted a mile away.
This book is one of my all time favorites! It is such a touching story and it totally made me cry! It taught me about courage and stuff like that! I think everyone should read it!
Luke asked Julie to marry him in the sixth grade. Now they are in high school and are deeply in love. When Luke becomes seriously ill, the couple wonders if their love can survive, now and forever.
