Description

From Goosebumps author R.L. Stine comes an eerie tale of two teens whose parents disappear under mysterious circumstances.
Mark and Cara Burroughs have been home alone before and don't think anything of it when their parents don't come home one night. But as time passes with no word, the siblings start to worry. Where could they be? And why don't the police seem interested in tracking their parents down?

Strange occurrences start to pile up as Mark's girlfriend vanishes and Mark and Cara's show more strange cousin seems to be watching their every move. But the true terror is only beginning. Someone wants Mark and Cara to disappear, too! But why? The answer lies deep in the Fear Street woods—if they live long enough to find it. show less

This was better than I thought it was going to be. The synopsis sounded super boring, but I decided to read the Fear Street books in order and this one was up next.

It was bonkers, but not over the top. For the most part it wrapped up nicely with no loose ends. And it was an enjoyable ride that kept me guessing.

R.L. Stine never disappoints. I got hooked on Stine as a kid and now as an adult I’m finally reading through the Fear Street Series and loving it.

This book was full of so many twists and turns. I never knew what would happen next and the ending was one I didn’t see coming. Amazing book and an amazing series!
Not my favorite in the series but definitely different from the others…
The “Missing” by the one and only R.L stine

Two parents disappear, Two children alone at home. Only to find out that their parents were not how they thought they were but the horror has only just begun.

The conflict in the book is the mystery of the Burroughs's parents disappearing, usually Mark and Cara Burroughs are home alone but with every hour that passes the sun rises. Without their parents being not at home the worries and frustration start to increase the siblings worry that something terrible happened to their parents.

There are two main characters that bring this whole story together and they are Mark Burroughs and Cara Burroughs. Cara is the sister of Mark and the daughter of Lucy and Greg Burroughs. And Mark Burroughs show more was also another character that brought this whole story together. Mark is the older brother of Cara and the son of Lucy and Greg Brroughs.
There are many bad people in this book that bring this story together but I would say the two main antagonists are our Captain Farraday. Which killed Mark and Cara fake cousin and Lucy and Greg friend. And The White Monkeys club. The White Monkey club is a club that started chaos and tried to kill Mark and Caras parents.

The theme of this book would be good vs. evil and self-sufficient.
I recommend this novel, “Missing” to anyone because it has suspense and mystery around every corner, but I do would wish there was a little less detail and more suspense in the book, so if you like suspense and mystery and a little bit of goryness in your book, you would enjoy The “Missing” by R.L Stine.

Possible Spoiler Alert:

Okay, how dumb do these two kids have to be? Instead of calling the police to let them know about our parents, let's tell some random detective who just showed up at our house. So there was an explanation for everything which made sense in the end- well, sort of.
