A short and simple science fiction story aimed at middle-school readers.

A young boy discovers a connection to another parallel world that is exactly like his own, but eight days ahead. There are obvious financial advantages to knowing the future - even an eight-day-ahead future - but there also seems to be some cosmic consequences. Should they continue their connection? Or will the possible outcome be too much to pay?

Bunting's writing is always clever and interesting, even in this short format. Excellent introduction to science fiction for young readers.
