Impulse grab from the library for the word 'map' but it turns out the key word was 'beagle.' Some of the verses had fun wordplay, but I personally found the illustrations to be downright ugly. ( )

This book basically has a poem for every dog known to man kind. Not really, but sometimes you wonder when it is going to end. Overall, it is not a bad book, as it relates to anybody who owns a dog. As I mentioned previously, the author covers a lot of different dogs, so the odds are good that the author covers your type of dog. The quick poems are funny, and they do a great job summing up a dog in less than 10 lines. Enjoyable, cute book.
