Mothers Matter Too is written for them, and for the thousands of other women for whom the reality of life as a mother or homemaker is very different from that which is expected ? and assumed.? This is about recognizing, accepting and meeting one's own needs as a person, without denying the reality of being a mother. It combines an analysis of what causes distress among homemakers with positive suggestions for social and individual change.
