Marriage and family therapist David Arp was educated at both the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Tennessee. After Arp worked his way up to captain in the U. S. Army, he took the position of marketing executive at IBM. Along with his wife, Arp began a career in marriage therapy and later founded Marriage Alive International, show more Inc. The Arps have given workshops and seminars at locations throughout the world, are columnists for Christian Parenting Today, and have created their own syndicated radio show, The Family Workshop.
