A study of the birth, evolution, and final state of stars, this text introduces cosmology, along with related equations and physical processes. Author William K. Rose, Professor Emeritus at the University of Maryland, explores matter and energy in space as well as stellar theory, the formation of galaxies, and the principles of cosmology.
