The Player

Maybe it's just because of the Washington DC setting (familiar to me), but I really like this one. I like the characters and their outlooks - he's a standard male idiot (I don't do commitment) but she's not the standard female idiot (if I just love him enough he'll be fixed!). And he does figure it out reasonably quickly. And he's more worried about screwing up a friendship than about being tied down. Things like that. It's also got some major portions of the continuity for the Family Secrets series, and a lot more revealed. Good story.
