Monty Don is a highly original journalist and broadcaster, and a leading figure in the organic movement. He has published numerous books, including Fork to Fork, The Urban Jungle and Gardening Mad. His weekly gardening column in The Observer is appreciated for its intelligent insights and imaginative coverage of gardening subjects. He has made show more many appearances on BBC 1's Holiday programme and also presents a number of gardening programmes for Channel 4, including Real Gardens.
