I love these kids in a full-size book by Child, or in these mini books from the tv series. This isn't my favorite story... but I do know that there are some children who go through a phase in which they refuse to ask for help, so it'll be relevant to some families. I wonder if Charlie may have been better off if he hadn't hovered so much, though. Just let her figure out herself that sometimes it's good to ask for help or recruit a friend.
Honestly. I sure hope she cleaned up her own pink milk mess. Pretty random. again, Lola gets away with stuff because she says please & thank you, and because she has a clever imagination... and because her brother is a saint. I did like the earlier books but I need to stop reading the knock-offs.
Lola is fiercely independent....most of the time! When it comes to doing things herself, she's a classic toddler - everything is on her own terms!
