Neste livro, Bruno Santa Cecília aborda a obra do arquiteto mineiro Éolo Maia (1942-2002) por meio da análise aprofundada de quatro de suas obras: O Hotel Verdes Mares, o Condomínio Barca do Sol, a Capela de Santana do Pé-do-Morro, e o Centro de Apoio Turístico Tancredo Neves (o "Rainha da Sucata"). A trajetória do arquiteto, com suas rupturas e permanências, é também narrada neste livro fartamente ilustrado com fotografias e, sobretudo, ótimos desenhos.
