This book combines two earlier works by David Martyn Lloyd-Jones: "From Fear to Faith" and "Faith on Trial." Lloyd-Jones turns his "Sherlock Holmesian" eye on the objections of Habbakuk and the author of the Psalms who asked of God why the righteous suffer (seemingly undeservedly) while the ungodly seem to prosper without any problems. No one, in my opinion, has ever been as great an expositor of holy scripture as David Martyn Lloyd-Jones and so I expected great things from this book. I was not disappointed. I do not believe you will be either.
