Book description
Denny Westbrook will never make it as a big-time pro football player. But he wants to coach, not play, so he doesn't care if he's stuck as frouth-string quarterback for the Sutton State Cowboys or that he hasn't played a single game in four years. Denny is tough and smart - and the other guys know it.

Then Denny is picked to play quarterback in one of the biggest games of the season. There's no way out. Louie St. Pierre has been suspended for breaking training rules, Doug Stephens wrenched his shoulder, and John Porter sprained his ankle. Kenny is the only Cowboy left who can play quarterback. He may be tough, but can he lead his team to victory?

Denny has exactly one week to prove himself...
