Terrific concept. I liked that several non-European works were included. I appreciated the notes about the works included with the answer key.

However, the pictures chosen were mostly unappealing - I just didn't *want* to look at them so carefully. And for my older eyes, these were very difficult puzzles - I had to use the answer key much too often.
In wonderful pictures from museums, the author selects details that are very hard to find. An excellent way to teach appreciation of the inner parts of famous paintings.
For twenty paintings from museums around the world done by artists of different times and places, a list of objects is given for the reader to find in the picture. Solutions at the end also describe the pictures and artists briefly.
