Description

California's Sierra Nevada region is a natural wonderland that attracts thousands of visitors from around the world. This compact field guide presents a new and simple way to identify all 95 species of Sierra trees. In this book, trees are grouped by leaf and twig types. This enables the reader to undertake side-by-side comparisons of species that look alike whether or not they are related. This Sierra guide follows the plan used by the author in his previous books on tree identification.
