Similar to the first book. I loved Timothy and his friends, but the author never clarifies his age enough to make his "genius" understandable: he "acts" 17 or 18, but "reads" 12 or 13; the inconsistency is annoying.
Also, none of the adults acts rationally.
SPOILER:
Why in the world would Argus Cade, the Master-Super-Duper-Ultimate-Genius Mage, tell one of the dragons how to get out of the prison planet, when there is absolutely no evidence that the Wurm is worthy of that trust?
And why did the author totally ignore the need to explain why Cassandra helped Timothy in the first book? Sloppy.
