There are far better books out there. The plot is predictable, and the characters are "Mary-Sues". Of course, this book was probably written with the intent to make money and not with the intent to produce quality literature.

What I like about the book is the idea behind five girls, each with their own elemental power -- and Will being the girl representing the "will" or "spirit" unifying all four elements.
The first of the series and a fun read. Though in the short tale it just builds up, rather like an episode rather than being actually a proper story. It would make you want to get your hands on the sequels.

The five girls are interesting and there is that feeling throughout that there is something about to happen. Though I did occasionally want to tell them to get to the point.
