Most people who are familiar with the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur will have hard of this character. He is mentioned in the longer and more in-depth tellings of the myth, and in this book, he is given a much larger story (or backstory, as the case would be) Although Mr. Evslin takes a lot of liberties with the stories he used for this series, he usually did a good job, and this book is no exception as the author sometimes offers refreshing perspectives on villains.
I now have a better grasp on the word "procrustean."
