This is a children’s book about a bat that moves into a new home and is looked upon as weird to the other animals because he sees everything upside down. It is a really cute story which would be a great introduction to a lesson on bats. It also has a great moral lesson of seeing things from another person’s perspective. This would be a good book for any age because it has a really great moral lesson, but is also a silly way to introduce science. It has great illustrations and a really great ending!
The illustrations weren't my favorites, and the story was cute but not very involving for the five-year-old in the audience. He was drawn in before the end, however, so all was not lost. Also, daft was a new word for both members of my audience, so that was good. 2.5
