One of my favorite science fiction series. The Kerrion Empire is a family of trading members in competition with many other families. The soon-to-be head of the Kerrion Empire journeys to earth to locate a wife, from a primitive society who will have no connection with or understanding of the trading empires of space or the Kerrion Empire. He finds her, marries her and she learns fast.
