St. Bart's 2014 #7 - Another island book for my island vacation! As always, these Ogilvie books are rather sappy love stories with tabloid covers to match, but they are so full of the daily rigors and beauty of island existence that I cannot seem to be able to get enough. This one certainly had the trappings of a romance novel, which it is, but also focused on the unpleasant ugliness that sometimes thrives in fishing communities, some of it a bit overdone. But I plowed through it in a day and am glad I did. When my ship actually comes in and I am able to live on a Maine island, I can only hope that Elisabeth Ogilvie will have given me a little head start!
