Paul Williams has produced an extended tract, an apologetic for those with limited knowledge but some skepticism of Christianity. The flow is excellent, and the style is simple and accessible. It can easily be read in one or two sittings. For the most part, the book accomplishes its purpose very well. Common questions receive Biblical answers, and those who do not believe are confronted with a reasonable faith. For the majority of the chapters, Williams draws his answers straight from the texts of Scripture. While this is quite appropriate in most instances, it does make the chapter addressing the reliability of the Bible the weakest in the book. In summary, this little volume is well suited to be used as an evangelistic tool.
Written for someone with little or no biblical background, this book offers an excellent apologetic for the big hairy questions that always get asked. It's humorous and engaging without being trivial and irrelevant.
