Lyle and his mother are crocodiles. They live with a family in the city and are adjusting to their new life. One day they find out Mrs. Primm is having a baby and Lyle does everything he can to prepare for the baby. A really lighthearted and funny book that keeps you guessing and laughing the whole time.
Defintely reads as disjointed and silly, not so funny, if one isn't already a fan of the Lyle series. I've read four now and I think that's more than enough.
The main story of this book is centered around Lyle the crocodile. He is a young crocodile that lives with a nice family called The Primms, as well as his mother nicknamed Felicity. They go through many adventures, ranging from getting arrested to sniffing purfumes. You will have to read the rest of the story to find out what happens at the end!
Lyle has some mountains to climb in this tale as he helps his mother get used to city life and prepares for his friend's new baby.
Funny, Funny Lyle is about a crocodile who loves his mother very, very much. He looks up to her, but one day she was caught stealing things from a store. The book is about how Lyle deals with his mothers mistake and how he gets over it.
really good for knowing voice and who is talking, you have to pay attention to who is speaking. Great for vocab and using to discover what a word means
This is a cute imaginary story that children will love!
