Very simple and concise, but not just for the youngest children.

Not only does it make us fully understand that jellyfish have no brain or heart, but it points out, over the course of many beautiful photos, how many different kinds of jellyfish there (and aren't: the Portuguese man-of-war is not, as it is an air-filled bubble, not a water-filled bell). I also learned that there are upside-down jellyfish, "They are their own greenhouses and grocery stores all wrapped up in one."
I liked this book a lot for a few reasons. First, I really liked the way the writing was organized. The information was comprehensive and had a nice flow. I also liked that it was written from a second person point of view and spoke directly to the reader. Secondly, the book contained real photos of different jellyfish that were beautiful. The pictures really enhanced the written text and make reading more pleasant. The big idea of the book is to provide information about types of jellyfish accompanied by real life pictures of them.
