Wow - judging by the other reviews I guess I should've read this when I was a kid. I don't think the kid who donated it to the thrift store was very fond of it, either, though - it's so clean and tight. Ok, it was mildly amusing in bits. But I didn't find the characters or the plot the least bit plausible, and the cover illustration has nothing to do with the story. Sorry.
