Nathaniel Harris studied at University College, Oxford, before beginning a career in publishing, where he served as editor of The Encyclopedia of the Arts and The Romantics. Since the publication of Struggle for Supremacy in 1969, he has been a full-time author, specializing in historical and geographical subjects.
