Berthe Amoss is the top designer of Advent calendars, choosing beautiful art to begin with, and creating interesting snippets of Christian symbols for each window, e.g. for Day Five: The pilgrims' exodus from the city represents departure from paganism. As well, the physical dimensions of her high quality calendars are interesting: 1997's is a cut-out triptych model.
