Just sorta fizzled out, I started very interested but it lost focus and went nowhere in particular. Not bad but just meandering and not really very engaging. John Mortimer has turned out to be a rather mixed bag so far.
skimmed á la Bayard before donating to PV library - as I recall did not care for this one - or was it Paradise Postponed I did not like? Hmmm
