The artwork here is slightly sloppy but it was clearly a style choice and it was a great one. I liked the twist of the monsters being children.
Interactive, sloppy and fun, this book could be read-a-loud and paired with actions. Minimal story with great colors, younger readers will love to see it and beginning readers will love to read it.

Brilliant. The fun, short text and vibrant illustrations grab my daughter's attention every single time we read this book to her. She LOVES this book! It's especially fun because of the voices you can do for the monster characters.
This book was alright.I think possibly more for little boys although I did enjoy monsters. The duration of the book you were under the impression that they were huge monsters. The illustrator was sizing them to tonka toys and in the end there mom beckoned them to come home.
