Description
Clay and Frankie LeGrand are deliriously happy newlyweds until the day Frankie inexplicably disappears. The local police suspect Clay had something to do with it-but they can't prove anything. Two years go by and then, as suddenly as she disappeared, Frankie is back in bed exactly where Clay last saw her, as though nothing ever happened. There are sinister clues: a tattoo on Frankie's neck, needle marks on her arm, and a powerful man who has been trying to control her since childhood. But show more though her memory is lost, the part of her that matters most-her will to survive-is not. Wherever she has been, she's found her way back to Clay. But can they recover the sense of safety and security that was stolen from them? show lessTags

Another good one by Sharon Sala. I was very excited to read this book so I put it off a while to savor the anticipation. The writing was fast paced and exciting. I liked the hero and how, even when he was accused of murdering his wife, he still loved her and missed her. She was a bit less well developed but only by a small degree. Enjoyable secondary characters and a different sort of villian.
So what was with the needle marks on her arms? I assume that the bad guy kept her doped up? But it didn't come right out and say that and if he did, why? He kept her locked in a barred room for two years, why was sedation needed?
I liked this story. You can see both POV, he doesn't trust her, she left then returns with track marks so he is worried she's lying. Her feelings haven't changed from the time she went missing 2 years ago, she is just missing a chunk of time.
The change in POV wasn't clearly marked and therefore a bit confusing at times between the H and h. A few inconsistencies but only small details that didn't affect the story.

"Remember Me" by Sharon Sala is about a newlywed couple and the hell that their life becomes. When Clay LeGrand comes home one day to find that his wife of just 1 year has completely disappeared, he finds himself to be the prime suspect in her murder. When he comes home one day two years later and his wife is in his bed waiting for him with welcoming arms he finds himself completely confused.
Where was she? What happened? Why is she back? These are questions they both wish they could answer. What happens now? That is the question that will keep you reading until the final page!
"Remember Me" is a wonderful page turner. Ms. Sala wrote a story of suspense and a love so powerful it can withstand anything. Colorful characters and carefully show more placed plot twists make this book impossible to put down! show less

Frankie, Clay LeGrand's wife goes missing for 2 years, when she returns there are more questions than answers.
Typical Sharon Sala suspense.
