House of Winslow Book 16- Laurie Winslow longed to make her dream of becoming a writer come true, and Wilson College in Omaha seemed to offer what her career required. Funds run out and Laurie joins up with Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show as a trick rider to earn enough money to return to school. One day after a performance Laurie runs into a friend from the past and manages to land him a job. Cody reveals to Laurie his troubled past and what he is running from. Laurie has reason to believe show more that Cody is innocent, but as their fame grows, so does the fear that someone may recognize him. Book 13 Tom Winslow’s daughter Laurie Winslow is off to college to become a writer. Book 14 Dan Winslow’s step son Cody Roger has been framed for murder. Cody is on the run and goes by the name Jim. Book 8 Thad Novack and Pet Winslow’s son Sam is out to explore the world before he becomes a preacher. Though a variety of circumstances the three cousins come to work for the Wild West Show.

Gilbert Morris, May 24, 1929 - Gilbert Morris was born on May 24, 1929 in Forrest City Arkansas. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English in 1958 from Arkansas State University. He went on to earn his Master's in English from ASU as well and eventually earned his Doctorate in English from the University of Arkansas in 1968. After graduating show more from college, Morris became a pastor for a Baptist Church in Alabama. He resided there from 1955 until 1961, at which point he accepted an appointment as a professor at Ouchita Baptist University. Morris now writes books full time, and all of his stories have a basis in Christian faith. Over the course of his career, Morris has sold millions of copies of his titles. He has been a Gold medallion finalist several times and has received five angel awards, three for the Winslow series and two for the Appomatox Series.
