NCLA Review - Kathy Herman is the best-selling author of thirteen novels. This masterfully written novel involves flawed people grappling with real problems in an imperfect world. As events unfold, envy and jealousy give way to grace and forgiveness. After struggling with alcoholism, Rue Kessler is back on his feet and sober. With his wife and 8-year old son he is ready to rebuild his life. But this family soon becomes the target of someone’s cruel and frightening attacks. The enemy is unseen and unknown until the final pages. The author has blended a family saga with a suspense-filled mystery. Kathy Herman has truly done a masterful job weaving together heart-racing mystery and biblical precepts into unforgettable drama. A helpful show more discussion guide is included. Rating: 3 —MF . 324 p. paper, Multinomah 2008, $15.99 [813.6] show less
Very predictable and didn't feel like the chapters flowed very well.
