Epigraph
Dedication
This book is dedicated to that frightened young girl who gave birth to a chubby litte brown eyed brown haired babby girl on December 21 1952 at Pilot Point, Texas. Because of her courageous willingness to let go, that chubby little baby is a happy, well adjusted woman now, with a family of her own and two parents who opened not only their home to her, but their hearts as well. They raised that child as they would their own, taught her all about life and what it is to love. So, to that young girl who so bravely gave up her baby when she knew she was in no position to care for it herself, I say, 'Thank you' - for not only did you give me life, you gave me happiness.

Book description
Irresistible Enemy. Answering Matthew Tucker's ad for a wife was Callie Thomas's chance to escape from the Cinderella type existence she had known back East. So when she stepped off the stagecoach, she was more than eager to meet her future husband. Instead she found herself hitching a ride with her fiance's sworn enemy whose brash accusations were enough to make her slap his face. But despite his despicable behavior, she couldn't help wonder how his strong arms would feel wrapped around her, how his generous mouth would taste pressed against hers. And though she was promised to another man, Callie knew that her unleashed desire for the arrogant, handsome Texan would live in her dreams forever..... Beautiful Schemer. The gorgeous brunette spelled trouble. No matter what she said, Wade knew the alluring beauty was a craft little fortune hunter, after Matthew Tucker's money. But there was no love lost between him and Tucker, and once he delivered her to the man's ranch, he was determined to keep his distance. Yet, when she looked at him with those incredible blue eyes, waves of longing engulfed him. He wanted nothing more than to kiss her sweet lips, to caress her warm, enticing body, to hold her in his arms and never let her go.....
