This book touches upon the death of the pet, in this case, a goldfish. The BSC series tried to touch uon serious subjects, and this spin-off does the same in an age-appropriate way.
Karen and Andrew have goldfish! They are both so excited. But then something horrible happens to Karen's goldfish, and now she's sad. A very good BSCLS book that can help show the responsibilites and hardships of owning a pet.
