Der Roman spielt in Ende der 1970er Jahre. Einem "alter Mann", der in einem kürlzlich erst von einem unbekannten geerbten Haus in Frankfurt lebt und von Berlin aus dorthin gezogen ist, vermischen sich Erlebtes, Erinnertes und Erträumtes. Ein Fremder im Haus erregt seinen Verdacht, und während er diesem nachgeht, verstärken sich die - ja was eigentlich? - Visionen, Halluzinationen, Traumata?

Das Buch war für mich schwer zugänglich, aber das soll es wohl auch sein. Dennoch finde ich, hat Inka Parei darin sprachliche Kraft und eine erzählerische Spannung aufgebaut, die ich, trotz allem, ansprechend finde.
