This is not book one of a trilogy. It is volume one of a single book published in three parts to increase sales. It does not stand on its own and ends abruptly—you could call it a cliff hanger if you were being kind. I call it unfinished.

Holder’s bio says she has published more than 48 books. This one reads supports that claim. It reads as if someone with a passing knowledge of the characters and a set of canned plot devices cranked it out at a single sitting. I know that is not possible, so I'll just say it's a great first draft.

Still it is good enough to bother reading if you have all three volumes before you start.
