Another story in the "Hideaway" series, although almost all of this story takes place on a Navajo reservation in Arizona and not in Hideaway, Missouri. This story for me had a bit of a spooky and troublesome story-line and I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the other stories in this series. The authors though did a great job of creating a mystery and hiding the guilty party until the very end.

Sheila Metcalf is a nurse in Hideaway who finds herself going back to her childhood home and memories when she returns to the Navajo reservation to help them out as a nurse during some troubling times on the reservation. This will bring back memories of over 20 years ago, when her mother mysteriously died out in the desert. Preston Black, the man show more who loves her, doesn't want her to go, and will end up following her out to Arizona with Blaze (a young man who you will grow to love if you have been reading this series of stories). There will be a medical mystery to solve and secrets about the past history of the school to unravel. Sheila will need strength and courage and a faith in God that will protect her through some very difficult times.

This was a story that took me out of my comfort zone at times and also that kept me guessing all the way through; who could I really trust. I was surprised to discover the answers to the mystery in this story. I did miss the folks and town of Hideaway though; guess there is no place like home. Enjoy.
