I really liked the way this story dealt with the Amish way of life. It is about Hannah Schwartz, who leaves her Amish way of life after her parents are murdered. She finds the fellow she ran off and married to be an abusive husband. She leaves him when she thinks her just born baby has died. Now skip ahead 10 years and Hannah is back in Indiana, searching for her child? and the answers to her parents murder. Highly recommend this book!!

Anathema pulls you in from the very first page and doesn't let you go until you close the book. I found the characters to be true-to-life... flawed like you and me. Full of suspense, twists and turns, as well as a sweet love story. The notes about the quilt patterns before each chapter were really fun.

I love ALL Colleen's stories and this one was no exception. I highly recommend the book.
This mystery kept me guessing to the very end. I was glad for the happy ending.
