This book stayed with me. That's the highest praise I can give any book. That even without having it, I still remember the story fondly, the characters, and the overall amusement of it. The Trins were just amusing to me, Kevin's point of view as well. I enjoyed this book overall and one day might replace it. ( )

Cute. Not much to it - I was kind of expecting the trins to cause problems for the other mice (aside from Mrs Pry and the ones who try to attack them), but it came out all happy ending. Glad I read it, though I doubt I'll bother to reread. ( )

I love how the author always teaches us a bit about animals. Did you know that pure white cats are often deaf? Or that mice are known as bucks, does, and cubs? What a fun adventure, with a variety of terrific characters, human, cat, and mouse. A bit of a lesson about classism, too.

One mouse's meat is another mouse's poison."" ( )
