When Kirsty and Rachel first meet on a ship heading to Rainspell Island with a rainbow above them, it is almost like magic. Soon after Rachel and Kirsty find Ruby the Red Fairy, she tells them that she is one of seven sisters who Jack Frost sent off into the human world. Though Queen Tatiana protected them and sent them to Rainspell Island, Ruby the Red Fairy was at the bottom of the pot that was there while her other sisters flew out. Now Rachel and Kirsty need to find the other fairies before they leave Rainspell Island. Can they do it? I would recommend this book to fairy lovers of all ages.
I really never thought too highly of these books. Even when I read them at about four, I never really was very into them.
