My favorite poem out of this book is My Kite. I LOVE how the words are drawn out like the kite. It really makes it fun to read. A lot of the other poems in this book are built on that same concept and make these simple poems so much more. This is a good book to read to children before or after recess, just for fun.
This is a book of poems about children playing and having fun. This book was really nice in that it was all about experience children go through when they are playing and having fun. This would be a good book to share with a class just at story time as it would be something that they could all relate to.
