Liam really like this book, we read it at bedtime for about a month. He learned the names of all the vegetables, and liked finding the ant. A few months later, he still calls crows 'blackcrows'.

This book was a 2.5 for me, so I rounded up to a 3. Seems like a good read-aloud for toddlers learning to count, plus a little lesson on how potatoes grow underground.
Can be used as a counting book, but also a basic reading book for young children.
