Arthur Agatston graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 1973, studied internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his cardiology fellowship at New York University. He decided to combine academics with clinical practice and accepted a position at Mt. Sinai Medical Center show more in Miami Beach, which was associated with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has written over 100 articles and abstracts for scientific journals including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the American Journal of Cardiology, and the Annals of Internal Medicine.
