picked this book up at a used book store in Huntersville, NC, and was excited as it was by an author I whose name I did not recognize.
The story is of an attorney who has undergone personal tragedy and is working his way through his recovery. He returns to his grandparents home where he was raised and opens up a solo practice. He becomes involved in a case of a young woman missing in China when investigating human rights and work practices at a factory there.
The story line is terrific. The reason I gave it a 3.5 was that as much as I wanted to find out what happened I did not find the writing descriptive enough. Maybe it needed a tad more editing, or maybe that is the way it was suppose to be. I think it would make a good movie.
